These terms apply to the Bordo website and app ("Bordo"), made by the CrossBorder Wealth and FIRE Network ("we"). By using Bordo you accept them.
Bordo is a planning and educational tool. Its projections, withdrawal amounts, tax and pension estimates are estimates based on the information you enter, published research and past market data. They are not investment, tax, legal or financial advice, and they do not guarantee any future result. Markets, laws, tax rules and pension rules change. Check important decisions with a qualified professional.
Your plan and the files you import are processed in your browser. On the website, if you sign in, a private copy of your data can be kept so you see the same plan on your devices; only you can open it. We do not sell your data, show ads or use trackers. You can delete your data at any time from the Backup page or by clearing your browser data.
If you sign up for the weekly email, or join the Bordo Community, we keep your email address, the topics, interests and country you chose, the date and the wording you agreed to. We use them only to send you the weekly email (news for cross-border early retirees and what is new in Bordo), which may include clearly marked sponsored content or partner links. We do not sell or share your address, except with the service that sends the email for us. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes your address from our list. You can also ask us to see or delete your data at any time.
The News page shows headlines and short excerpts from public news feeds, with a link to each original article. The articles belong to their authors and sites; we are not affiliated with them and do not endorse what they say. Nothing in the news or the email is investment, tax, legal or immigration advice.

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Bordo for your own planning. You may not, without our written permission:
Market data, news, forecasts and research quoted in Bordo belong to their owners and are credited where they appear.
Use Bordo lawfully and only for your own household's planning. Do not try to break its security, overload it or access other people's data.
Bordo is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We work to keep it accurate and available but do not promise it is error-free or always available.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of Bordo or decisions made with it, including investment, tax or retirement decisions. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
We may update Bordo and these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use Bordo means you accept the updated terms.
